Immediately, tension sets in between the two of us. My entire body tenses up at her words, but I try to remain unperturbed in front of her. Rebecca stays in the same position, she hasn't moved or taken her eyes off mine. Her brother's words still echo in my head and, for some reason, I think I truly see the real Rebecca. Her gaze is cold, emanating quite a dark aura compared to the one she showed just a couple of hours ago. "Am I supposed to take your words as a threat?"
