Rebecca puts a piece of fruit in her mouth. She chews calmly, not rushing to swallow or to respond to my brother, but she does turn her neck to look him in the face.
Dim meets her gaze with a mischievous smile, and when Rebecca shrugs, stops looking at him, and returns her eyes to the plate, my brother's smile vanishes, and he immediately looks at me with a raised eyebrow and a lethal stare.
