I can't stop looking at her with a hint of a smile on my lips. If there's one thing that makes me happy at this stage of my life, it's knowing that I have my beautiful Launice, no matter what she's doing or what's happening around us.
She might be very busy. She might have a commitment. She could even have a date with Harold, she would cancel it for me.
I would do the same for my cousin without hesitation. I would drop everything just to go see her. I don't care if I'm locked up in this mansion. If Lau calls me, I will go to her.
That hasn't happened, and I haven't abused the power she gave me, but if the occasion arises, I will leave here regardless of getting into an argument with Vladimir.
