Chapter 27
"Your attention please!" A woman wearing a sharp black suit and a Judge's hammer calls the meeting to order. "We are gathered to decide which wolf should assume the Alpha role." Silence is spread over the room. "We have a list of nominees for your consideration." I gulp, wishing my name was not among those about to be called. "Yobin." A man, presumably Yobin, goes up to stand by the woman. "Carl." He goes to stand by Yobin. Two more names are called and they, in turn, stand up. "Cara." Gasps roar all around. "A girl!?" Someone yells. "Got a problem with that" The woman at the front questions accusingly. The anonymous protestor is silenced instantly, "Without Cara, all of you would quite probably be dead right now! She won that fight for us! None of us here could contest with
