Zora’s Pov

The familiar scent of antiseptic greets me as I step through the doors of the veterinary clinic, my heart fluttering with a mix of apprehension and anticipation. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions since that unforgettable night with Zavier, and returning to work feels like a welcome respite amidst the chaos of my thoughts.

As I don my scrubs and prepare for the day ahead, I can’t help but wonder if I’ll see him again, if fate will once more intertwine our paths in unexpected ways. Lost in my thoughts, I’m jolted back to reality by the sound of the clinic door swinging open, revealing a figure silhouetted against the morning light. “You didn’t have to leave.” I say while still typing on the computer.
