It was twilight and the palace lights were already dimmed. Erana grabbed a fire torch and snuck out of her room. She gazed around to be sure no one was watching before making her way out. The weather was cool and she could feel the cold penetrate her skin a bit. But that wasn’t her problem. She was used to the cold and was barely bothered by it. Standing at the entrance of the dungeon, she turned to a dark alleyway at an opposite route. She wasn't sure if that was a smart route to take, but she was ready. She wasn’t scared of taking her chances anymore. She snuck her way past the guards, shielding her face with a black veil and hurried to the alley.
