Dear Diary
I’ve been driving for two days, and I am finally in Hollywood, Florida. It’s beautiful here. Warm even for the beginning of Fall. I wasn’t expecting that. This is where my life will hopefully change for the better. Tomorrow is Monday. I am hoping my lawyer has good news for me. If Brian has signed the papers, I will be one step closer to changing my last name back to my maiden name. Soon, I won’t be Savanna Garrison anymore. I’ll be Savanna James. I can’t wait.
“Yes, Mrs. Garrison, he signed the papers. I just got done filing them with the courts. I was just about to call you.”
“Oh, my God, yes. Thank you, Mrs. Wilson. The moment I find a place to stay, I will send you my address so you can mail me the papers. Thank you, thank you so much.”
