I looked at the message and then pushed send. I then called Nicole right away.
“Girl, what is this message, and how am I supposed to be there?”
“I’d already bought you a ticket before I sent the message. I need you, Nic. I’m not going to explain anything over the phone. It needs to be face-to-face. I know it’s last minute. Your flight leaves tonight and arrives at midnight. I will pick you up at the airport. Just know that what I have to tell you
