FLEEING MY FORBIDDEN MATE FOREVER

CHAPTER 5

Bella's Pov

“That's a lie. That can't be. We're family for God's sake. There's no way we can be paired with each other. After all my prayers, the moon goddess could never let such a thing happen to me,” I muttered amidst the choke hold.

Carl snarled and threw me to the other side of the room. I hit in and screamed in pain when I fell.

I opened my eyes and felt a slight concussion as my head had taken a hit. However, Carl was not done yet.

“You i***t. Do you think I came here to play games with you, huh? You dare to work about prayers in my presence. Are you mocking me?” Carl said, picking me up again which was his usual act whenever he was about to start hitting me again.

“I'm sorry. I didn't mean to,” I was apologizing again when I hadn't done anything wrong. This was how much of a monster he was.

“I have trained Day and night, won several duels and battles, and yet I have not been able to take my rightful place as the Alpha yet because I was yet to find my mate and it turned out to be you for some reason. This can't be a coincidence,” Carl said, dropping me on my bed and kicking it upside down.

I lay under the bed without moving. I hoped he would leave me in peace but I was being as he threw my bed off me with another kick and picked me up like a pillow again.

“What have you done? What type of vile sorcery have you armed yourself with?” Carl asked at the top of his voice.

“I have done nothing. I swear it's not my doing. Ifthemoon goddess wishes to punish you, it is your fault and not mine,” I replied, desperately.

I regretted my words immediately. I had said what was on my mind and In this situation, it was not going to help me in any way.

“It's my fault, huh?” Carl asked, dropping me on the bed and standing above me.

I was confused by this as it seemed he was removing his belt to thrash me with it but then he threw it away to the other side of the room as he unbuttoned his trousers.

“What are you doing?” I asked, confused by what was going on.

“What does it look like, Omega? I'm going to deflower you right here and right now in this room. It doesn't matter if you're my cousin or not.

“After all, you're my mate and you belong to me, right?” Carl asked, approaching me as I moved closer to the wall.

I couldn't believe how much of an animal he truly was. Using me as his pouncing bag wasn't satisfying to him anymore so now he wanted to satisfy his lustful desires with me.

Why was I so unlucky? I wondered why the goddess put me in these terrible situations where I was helpless and let me get into a lot of trouble when I had done nothing wrong.

Carl got to me and placed his hands on the wall behind me as he leaned in for a kiss on my bare neck.

I closed my eyes and waited. There was nothing more to be done as I knew better than to dare to overpower him.

“You want it, don't you?” Carl asked, stopping and changing his mind at the last second.

“What? No, I don't. I'm sorry,” I said, apologizing again as he had commanded I always do when speaking to him.

It was also convenient for me as It helped me when I had nothing suitable to say to him when he asked me questions like this one that had no suitable answer.

“What a dumb question. Well, nothing else is supposed to be expected from an Omega like you. I'm sure you will be more than happy to have me soil myself with you,” Carl said angrily.

“That's not what this is. I have no hand in this. It's not me. Why don't you believe me?” I asked in response.

“It's your fault. Make no mistake. I'm going to deflower you even if it is what It takes to become the Alpha. This is a very nice joke and it's a shame that in the end, the joke is still on you,” Carl said, stepping away from me.

I was Infuriated by this and found myself getting courage all of a sudden. I felt so much anger that I mustered enough courage and spoke.

“What are you talking about? How the hell do you think I would want to be mated to you? I have no hand in this and I'm equally as shocked as you,” I replied, at the top of my voice.

Carl seemed undisturbed by my shouts as he refused to acknowledge me but simply held his head in anger.

“Oh, you will be in trouble soon enough. I'm going out now to try everything within the power of an alpha to try and remedy this issue. When I'm gone, you better pray that I find a solution because if I get back and I'm yet to find one, you better be prepared for some hot love-making session as then it would be my only option,” Carl said, picking up his best and walking out of the room.

I sighed in relief immediately, he walked out. I got lucky today as he wasn't drunk so I was able to get any with raising my voice back at him.

However, he had threatened me in one of the most inhumane ways possible. I knew he was not going to get any solution as he was well, he was who he was.

However, I was not going to sit around and party or wait. I was done doing any of that. The moon goddess had proven to be only as merciful as Carl was and so I was not going to submit to either of them again.

I was not going to let Carl go on with his evil plan with me. I would deny him from getting the Alpha title he was dying for and this was going to be the start of my revenge.
