Cedes’ POV

Sarah asked me if I felt anything with Eli. How do I begin to describe how I felt? It’s like my body craved to be touched by him more, like he was made for me. Oh I swear I read something about this in one of the shifter books, what was it called again?

“Sarah, I know this might sound crazy but I think I read about it in one of the books. I can’t remember what it’s called but when we touched it was like electricity. Little tingles where our bodies had touched, my body felt calm and anything I had on my mind was gone. I was completely relaxed and even thinking of him now, I’m calm. When I smelled the scent earlier, I thought it was just the bakery but I smelled it again when we were out shopping and when we were walking back here..” I decided it was easier just to tell her everything at this point. She looks at me and has the biggest smile on her face and says one word. Mate.

I flutter my eyes at her, yes that’s what it was called in the book. It was described to be your other half given to you by their Moon Goddess, Selene. Your mate would complete you, that is the person who made you whole and balanced you along with your wolf. I read right before this that before your twentieth birthday, you would hear from your wolf. That would speak to you and you would have time to learn of one another before shifting. But if I’m a royal werewolf, and I’m 19 right now.. omg.

“Sarah! I just realized something. I’m 19, my birthday is just shy of two weeks! If I am a royal, my wolf should be coming forward any day now! Could this be why the rouges are acting now? How am I supposed to know when she will be arriving? Like are there signs that show how close she is?” I think I scared the girl because she looks at me and says this, “based on your eyes C I think she is very close to appearing.”

I ran to my bathroom, and as I get in there I see my eyes shifting from black back to my casual green eyes. I knew I wasn’t seeing things earlier with Eli, so his wolf must’ve been trying to surface. OMG! I just put it all together. Myself and Eli.. the scents, our wolves, the electricity, it could all mean only one thing..
