Lost in this World

Chapter 2

Myself and my men have been put on a journey to find the one who was taken from our kingdom many moons ago. If timing is correct, she should becoming of age within a couple weeks. My name is Eli and I am the Werewolf King’s right hand man.

I was born and raised in our kingdom. My father before was in the position I hold now and when we lost him and I became of age. I accepted his place with pride. Not just any wolf can take our places. When we get our wolves and are able to shift, those of us with royal lineage have solid black wolves with a star on our foreheads. When I was 1, our Queen had a set of pups. The first twins known in our existence. One night, rouges entered our kingdom trying to kidnap the pups. They were caught before they got close but after that our King and Queen made the hard decision to separate the pups. They felt it would be safer to hide the baby girl away and keep their baby boy close. In the darkness of the night, they used the help of a witch and covered themselves to go and hide her at a nearby town. Ever since, they send scouts out to patrol the area and check up on her. They left her with an amulet with R.B. Engraved into that signified Royal Born and on the back a description of her journey to find them.

Now, I was wandering my patrol trying to catch a glimpse of her. When I caught the most intoxicating scent: summer rain and pine. My wolf, Max, instantly perked up and started going crazy! I asked him what was going on and he started saying “Mate!! Mate, she’s close, she’s here!” I look around and I don’t see anyone at this point. I’ve lost glimpse of Mercedes and I’m hoping she’s heading to the coffee shop to help out with Miss Grace and Sara.

I know this town doesn’t have many people in it. And all of them are shifters or magical creatures. They have all been updated in the last 5 years just who the girl is to our kingdom. In this town, there are bears, wolves, lions, fairies, witches and warlocks. They all hide their powers from her, but she has all her memories. She has no curse on her or anything keeping her from her wolf. That’s why it’s so important that we speak to her.

Within a week, her wolf will a start awakening and speak to her. Shortly after in two weeks time, her first shift will take place. Her wolf will be of pure white as Selene, our moon goddess has told us. Her brother, Colin, his will be pure black. They are the only two royal born wolves who are solid color with no star on their foreheads. As she is the only white wolf of our existence.
