Chapter 2

Harley woke up and slowly opened her eyes as she was still feeling a bit doozy ! Miss jones saw her gaining her consciousness and she came running towards her !

Honey are you okay ? Do you want something ? How are you feeling ? Let me help you up !

Miss jones helped harley get up and sit .

Who are you ? Harley asked jones while trying to hold her head and sit properly .

I am the head of all the servants here ! And mr. mario asked me to be with you in case you gain consciousness and need something , mr. mario was very worried about your health i think the sedative they gave you reacted very badly in your case honey . But how are you feeling now ? Miss jones asked harley !

I am feeling a little better now but can i have some water ? I am very thirsty ! Harley replied with her weak voice trying to sit still !

Oh yes honey ! Wait i will call someone and then you tell him what you want to eat too otherwise you’d feel weak all day long !

Miss jones then took out her phone and called a guy from downstairs and ordered him to come to her room immediately !

Within a few minutes they heard a knocking noise on the door , miss jones stood up and walked towards the door to open it !

As soon as she opened the door a guy with his head looking towards the floor and folded hands asked miss jones

Ma’am what can i do for you ?

Bring a glass of water and something to eat for our guest ! Miss jones replied ! Oh I totally forgot do you have any preference as to what you want to eat honey ?

No i don’t want to eat anything ! I will not eat anything under that asshole mario’s roof ! I am a russo and we don’t even look at a Giordano’s face and eating under their roof in their home is a very long shot !

But you must eat something or else you will fall sick again honey ! Miss jones said with concern !

Please leave me alone and don’t bother me please ! Harley replied with some irritation in her voice and on her face !

Don’t you have any manners ? A very deep voice came from outside the door where that servant was standing with his head looking down .

miss jones is older to you this is not how we talk to elders here this is not your father’s land this is my land and here we respect elder people !

Mario entered the room with irritation on his face . He was wearing a casual lower with a casual t shirt and a Pair of eye glasses .

Miss jones can you have the kitchen staff to prepare something for me and this spoiled brat please ? Mario asked jones very politely .

Yes sweetie tell me what you want to eat ? Miss jones asked mario .

Anything ! Mario replied while taking his glasses off !

Okay i will get it ready in 20 minutes sweetie ! Miss jones replied . She then left the room with that servant .

You should learn some manners ! Mario advised harley while opening his cupboard and taking a t shirt out . Hen then turned around and threw that t shirt on harley and told her that she could wear this if she wants after freshening up and for that she can use this bathroom .

You will find everything inside the bathroom ! I think you should go and freshen up now since you were unconscious for 48 hours ! Mario smirked as if he was enjoying her misery and her pain ! As if it gave him pure satisfaction ! Anyways this is the most i can do to hurt you right now since we need you in good condition to make your greedy father dance on my fingertips ! Mario had some satisfaction in his voice while telling harley how he was going to use her for his own benefits !

Harley looked at him in disgust and asked him -

For How long are you planning to keep me here with you ? If my father finds out he will kill you and he will destroy your family ! You will have nothing left , my father will burn your empire down to its ashes ! If you leave me now and let me go home i will ask my father to show some mercy and leave you with a warning this time ! Harley advised mario innocently as if mario would actually go ahead and give her a jet to go home after keeping her here for more than two days !

Mario was standing in front of her with his hands folded and body leaning against the cupboard ! When harley finished talking mario looked at her and yawned and left without saying anything as if he let her complete but had no interest in listening to her plans .

You will not be able to get out of this mark my words you will pay for this ! Harley started shouting at mario while he was leaving the room but mario left anyways !

Harley sat there for a while worrying about the fact that there is absolutely no way she is getting out of this island without getting caught !

There were only satellite phones on the island and haley had no idea how to use them ! She got up from the bed slowly and cautiously as she was still under the effect of those sedatives ! She walked towards the bathroom slowly and suddenly she twisted her ankle and fell down but someone from behind caught her and stopped her from hitting the ground ! She turned back and saw miss jones holding her and giving her support . Miss jones helped harley walk towards the bathroom and helped her getting ready !

I have put your food on the table and a glass of water and juice ! Miss jones held harley’s hand and asked her to ring the bell kept on the table if and whenever she needs anything . honey since you are going to be here for a very long time you know ! I know how adamant mario actually is he will not let you leave until he has what he aspires ! Miss jones said in a voice full of concern for Harley . She then asks her to eat something and then leaves the room . Harley was very worried about her situation , she suddenly remembered that she was supposed to be with her grandfather two days ago . She started panicking , she was very worried about her grandfather as he was already on his death bed ! All she wanted to do right now is to go to her grandfather ! She loved him the most in her family as he was the only one who understood her always and was there for her in her first piano recital and when she first learned how to ride a bicycle and all . All she wanted to do at the moment was to find mario and beg him to give some information on her grandfather’s condition . She ran to find mario , she ran downstairs and towards a long corridor which led her to a small iron door she opened it and entered inside without thinking twice about the consequences , it led her towards a dingy room ! She looked inside the room through the window there she saw mario beating some man tied to his chair !

Mario punched his face 3-4 times and blood came oozing out ! Mario frowned and shouted in anger - tell me how did you get here ? Tell me now !

Then he ran towards the corner of the room took the plank lying in the corner and then banged it against the head of the man tied to the chair !

Mario’s shirt turned red from white with the blood of the man taking all the hits from mario , mario was looking like an animal out to hunt other animals . His face had all the dense scary emotions at that moment ! His face was covered with the blood of the man taking all his hits ! Suddenly he heard some noise outside the room ! When he came out he saw harley lying on the floor !

F**k ! What is she doing here ? And why was she looking at me she has a weak heart ! Mario said to himself . He then lifted her up when luca said boss i will take her to the room to which mario said no in frustration and took her to his room and put her down on his bed and asked to be with her and look after her ! He then left to finish his work which he left unfinished .

He then came back to the torture room and started hitting him again !

Tell me how did you get here ? Who gave you the access to this island ? Tell me !

Punch after punch but this man did not opened his mouth in front of him .

Mario stopped and then left the room only to come back to hit him again in some time .

Mario came back to his room and asked luca to leave the room as he wanted to freshen up and change his clothes !

While he was changing his clothes he started to wonder who this man could really be !

When mario came out he saw that harley was up and was standing near the window and was scared as hell ! Her face was covered in sweat and her body was trembling ! She was shaking with fear ! Mario goes to her and puts his hand on her shoulder and asks her

Are you alright ?

She jumped in fear and got away from him !

Breathing heavily she said

Yes i am alright but can you stay away from me please ?

You shouldn’t have come down there you have a weak heart ! Mario looked at her with some sympathy !

Mario looked at her intensely and then ordered her to sit down on the chair by the window !

She hesitated and tried to step back , mario held her hand in anger and pushed her down to sit on the chair !

SIT DOWN I SAID ! He shouted at her !

Harley looked at him and then started crying .

Just let me go , i will make sure that all your wishes are fulfilled in time ! Please just let me go !

I did not wish for anything , i only make orders and people follow them , you better pray that your dad obeys otherwise you won’t be able to see the outside world anymore ! Do you get it ? Mario shouted at her with his dense and deep voice !

Harley started to tremble !

Mario bent down put both his hands on the head of the chair looked at harley and whispered in her ears -

You are my guest so behave like one do not make me do horrible things to you that you just saw me doing to that man downstairs, your father will not come to protect you here ! This is my island !

Harley lifted her head to look at him and saw his eyes turning red ! She gulped and then nodded her head up and down like he was the alpha in the room and she was just obeying his orders just like any other servant in his service !

He then got up turned around and punched his hand against the wall forcefully and then left the room in fury leaving behind harley sobbing like a scared little kitten !
