I used my arms to push myself up before I had even completely reached consciousness as the last thing I remembered came back into my mind. All I could feel was the intense fear and pain and I immediately felt my wolf rile up again giving me no time to wonder about where I was or what was currently happening.

I ignored the voice as I tried to push the hands that had grabbed my shoulders away.
“Eden, listen to me. Calm down.” The same voice made me freeze as I focused on their face. He stared at me with wide brown eyes and I felt my heart stop. I was relieved to see him, but at the same time I was terrified.
