Capitulo Veintetres

Warning: Mature Scenes Ahead!

I hurriedly went back to my room. I closed my eyes to sleep ngunit ilang minuto na ang lumipas ay hindi ako nakatulog. Nagpaikot-ikot pa ako sa kama ngunit hindi pa rin ako dinadalaw ng antok.

"Sleeping fairy. Where are you? I badly want to sleep." Nagpagulong-gulong ako sa higaan.

Nagkukumahog akong tumayo ng may narinig na katok at inayos ang sarili bago binuksan ang pinto.

"Arturo... Bakit?"

Mapungay na ang mga mata nito at magulo ang buhok. Hindi rin ba siya makatulog? The sofa is big and he'll fit there but I doubt if he's comfortable. Kasya siya doon pero sigurado akong hindi siya makakakilos ng maayos. It's not comfy to sleep stiffly just so you can fit at the sofa.

"I just want to say g-goodnight. That's all," he said in a husky voice. It's already one in the morning.

"Oh, okay."

Pero walang kumilos sa amin para bumalik sa pagkakatulog.

"Uh, do you want to sleep in here? Kasi baka hindi ka makatulog ng maayos diyan sa sofa. Maluwag naman ang kama at pamdalawahan kaya kasya pa tayo dito. Pero kung ayaw mo naman—"

"But you're conservative."

Natigil ako sa sinabi nito. "O-oo nga! I w-was just concerned. 'Tsaka, as if namang may gagawin tayong kung ano dito, m-matutulog lang naman. P-pero conservative pa rin ako! Ano... gusto mo bang matulog dito o—"

"I would like to."

We stared at each other before he looked away. He cleared his throat and talked once again.

"Is it ok with you?" he asked.

I didn't repl. I just opened the door widely instead so he can get it.

He walked to the bed but waited for me. He asked which side of the bed I would like to take. I was honestly touched by that. I placed myself on the right side of the bed leaving the left side for him. There's a big space in between parang takot kaming magdikit sa pwesto namin ngayon na nakatalikod sa isa't-isa.

"Goodnight, Beatris."

"Goodnight, Arturo."

An hour already passed and it's two in the morning. But instead of sleeping I found myself looking at the sleeping Arturo. Nakatihaya na ito giving me an access to observe him.

He has a thick eyebrows, long and curly eyelashes and an aristocratic nose. His lips were slightly parted. Nais ko sanang pasadhan ng hawak ang ilong nito ngunit pinigilan ko ang sarili. At ang mata nitong abuhin na kay pungay— Dio! He's awake!

Napaatras ako bigla nang ipinosisyon nito ang sarili na nakaharap sa akin.

"Why are you staring at me, Beatris when you should be sleeping?" His voice is husky like a bedroom voice and it's giving me goosebumps. Dagdag pa ang malalim na baritonong boses nito.

"S-sorry, hindi kasi ako m-makatulog," bulong kong sagot.

"Uhuh?" aniya na tila hindi tinanggap ang eksplenasyon ko.

Akmang sasagot na sana ako nang bigla nitong pinagdikit ang mga labi namin. It was just a smack but he held my jaw making my mouth part and he took that to deepen the kiss. I'm sure I'm not drunk anymore, but I feel like being one again. Nakakalasing ang halik nito. The kiss is making me crave for more.

"I'm sorry, I lost my control," he uttered while chasing his breath.

"You're sorry that you kissed me?" hinihingal kong tanong. Tinitigan ko ito.

"No but—d"mn it. Hindi kita pagsasamatalahan—" I pulled him to me and kissed him hungrily, shutting him up. This is the first time that I become this intimate to a guy. Ito ang unang beses na ako ang humalik.

For the past months I've been battling with myself. I know, deep inside me I have this certain feeling for Thaddeus but what's stopping me was the thought that he's already committed. But then, during the holidays he admitted that he doesn't have a girlfriend. I think that made my guard loose. I was roo uptight with my feelings for him. I was denying it even with my own self for months.

Kanina habang nakikipag-usap siya sa babae something stirred inside me. He wasn't flirty, iyong babae lang. But that made my mind went turmoil. For the second time I felt a foreign feeling and that strengthened my theory. I like him. I like Thaddeus Arthur. I like him so much.

"Shut up and just kiss me," I said and mimicked his tongue a while ago. I'm not a pro in kissing. He's my first. But I'll get better soon.

Arturo looks like he's in pain.

"But you're conservative," he said. Sarcasm is etched on his voice.

I didn't speak. I just kept on kissing him and I don't know how to stop. I think I'm drunk again.

He cursed and the veins on his neck were showing, but later on he snapped and that's the sign that he can't take it anymore.

He kissed my forehead and looked at me intently.

"That's enough. We should go to sleep."

I touched his cheek and nodded. Because goodness gracious! I now admit that I like this man. Matagal na, but the jealousy I felt earlier made me realize that I should stop fooling myself. Because I truly like him.

We are breathing heavily after the kiss we shared. I nodded. Yes, I think so too. We should go to sleep now.

But when our eyes met...the blazing fire of desire is still there. And in just a blink of an eye, I was under his spell. I was also literally under him.

We were lapping each others lips until his lips travelled on my cheeks and jaw... leaving wet traces down to my chest.

His hand is caressing my legs through my pajama. I'm feeling so hot right now and I think he read my mind cause he took my pajama off.
