He glanced at me and didn't answer her directly. "I don't care how you and Elara met. Through Samuel or otherwise. You're keeping her; I'm satisfied." He paused. "I'll donate ten million to your research fund. No strings."
I wanted to stop him. I didn't want a cent of his money.
Victoria beat me to it. "Thank you. Then we'll take it. Now, what did you actually come over here for?"
"I need to find E," Orion said. "He is the only one who can save our world. Give me his address. I'll handle the rest myself."
I squeezed Victoria's arm. Hoping she'd let it drop.
She didn't. "You can find her in France."
