Tristan:
"Mom! I really need to go to the store! It's important!" I yell running through the house at 9:30 in the morning. I had just woke up and had a dream of the one person that I will love more than anything for the rest of my life. All I know about her is she's really pretty with white looking hair and green eyes and she looks like a princess.
"Why is the store so important if you aren't even out of your pajamas?" She asks laughing.
"Because mom! I had a very important dream last night and I have to get her something special so I can find her!" I say trying to pull her towards the door. I saved every penny I ever found in my whole life for a moment I might need it like today, and today is very important.
"We will go but you have to go get dressed and gather up your money so we can get whatever it is you need" she says smiling. One of my favorite stories from mom and how she met my dad before she actually met him. She met him in a dream like the one I had last night. She never knew who he was but she always hoped to find him, and one day she did while working shortly after that I was born.
"Okay!!!!!" I yell running back to my room and grabbing the nicest clothes I can find encase I see her today I could meet her at any moment and I always want to look my best for her. As soon as I was ready I grabbed my piggy bank and ran to the living room to find my mom. She was grabbing the keys to the car and giving my dad a kiss, then my dad looks at me.
"So you finally had the dream about her huh?" dad asks. I look at him with the biggest smile and go to telling him all about her.
"She's really pretty dad. Her hair is literally the color of winter snow, her eyes are an emerald green and she has pale skin with light brown freckles. Her voice sounds like an angel too. I hope I see her soon so I can give her everything she wants." I say grabbing my mom and tugging her to the door.
"Mom! We gotta go so I can get her a pretty necklace!!!!!" I run to the door struggling to open it and hold my piggy bank. Finally we get into the car and head to the bank to cash in all my change. As soon as we get done we head to the store. Once we get to the store. I search and search and finally find a necklace that matches her perfectly. It's a heart necklace with emerald green and silver stones in it. The green to match her eyes and the silver to match her hair. It's a locket with a key to open it. I've never seen one before in my life.
"I found it mom!!! I found the perfect gift for her! But I need my initials carved into the back of it" I point to the locket and show her. She smiles and tells the clerk handing her all the cash I saved up. The clerk says something quietly to my mom and my mom looks at me and smiles. I didn't see her hand the clerk her card to cover the rest of what I didn't have enough for. After signing some papers the clerk takes the necklace to the back and I hear really loud noises. When she comes back she bags up the necklace and an extra matching chain and hands it to me.
"This girl must be extra special for a special gift like this" She says smiling down at me.
"She's my forever." I say and walk out the door. We head home and as soon as we park in the drive way I run inside with my find. I run to my room and pull the necklace and chain out of the bag. The clerk had put the key on the extra chain for me and shined up the locket and carved my initials into the back of it. I go looking through every room in the house for a picture of me where I look my best that will fit in the tiny locket. Once I find one I grab my necklace and take it to my mom who is busy making lunch.
"Mom, can you help me please. I need this picture to go into the locket." I say climbing onto the chair at the table. She takes a look at the locket and the picture.
"Go get me the scissors so I can make it fit." She says. I run to my room and grab my school scissors out of my bag and bring them back for her. She very carefully cuts the picture to fit and places it safely in the locket. Once she's finished she hands me the locket. I give her a quick kiss on the cheek and I take it and run to my room. I find a piece of paper, an envelope, and a pen, then begin to write:
Deer prinses,
I dont want to rush into stuff but you are my furever. You are the most beautiful girl in the hole world. One day I will give you everything you want and more than you need. I will save all of my money so I can buy you things for keeps. Wen I find you I will never let you go. I will always be yours.
Furever yours,
T.S.
I stick my letter and the necklace into an envelope and put a stamp on it. As I seal it I wish with my whole heart that it makes it to the beautiful girl from my dream and run it outside and place it in the mailbox.
1 week later...
Winter POV:
I wake up to the light shining through the butterfly curtains on my window and my cat, Rainey, laying at my feet. I get up and go to the bathroom and brush my hair out putting it in a ponytail with my favorite bright pink head band with a glittery bow on it. I go to my room and grab a pink shirt with butterflies on it that my mom made me and my favorite pair of jeans, they have sparkely butterfly's on the bottoms of them. I slip on a pair of pink socks with my glittery shoes. I walk out of my room and into the kitchen pouring me a bowl of cereal. As I eat my cereal, my dad walks in and starts getting a bowl ready for my brother and my baby sister, Ivy, her bottle ready.
"Do you mind going outside and checking the mail sweety? Your mom is asleep cause she was up all night with Ivy and I've gotta get your brother and sister up and fed." he says spilling some cereal on the counter. "Any of the mail you want to keep you can and see if you win."
"I'll get it dad, it's ok." I get up and go outside to the mailbox and grab everything out of it. I carry it all inside and start looking though all the mail and find an envelope with no address on it. I grab it and take it to my room. I climb onto my bed and open the envelope. Inside I find a letter and a very pretty necklace. I open the letter and read it then pull out the necklace. on the back of the necklace are the letters T. S. I start to wonder who that is but I don't know anyone with that name, but whoever it is really loves whoever this was supposed to go to. I decide to keep the necklace and the letter and I begin my search to find who it belongs to. I take the necklace with me everywhere I go so I can find who it belongs to. I just didn't know what I would find out years later.
