Grace I went looking for Kent after lunch. I hadn't left the house the entire week since he brought me and I was beginning to grow mold from boredom. I searched inside the house but couldn't find him and went outside. I had to admit, everything about Kent's house was beautiful and refreshing. I felt energised and stronger than I had been at the bar, mostly because I felt more comfortable here, but that was not something I was ready to visit. I followed the sound I heard outside to the corner of the house and found Kent in a garage. The air inside the detached garage smelled like old iron, grease, and gasoline. It was a cold, drafty space beside the main house, lit only by a single bright bulb hanging from a frayed cord and the sunlight cutting through the dirt-streaked windows. Ken
