Chapter 16 - WacławI’m a demon. WHEN I AWOKE THE NEXT MORNING to Xobas shaking me, I groaned and rolled over, sick to my stomach. Leaving my soul-form for my physical one was never comfortable, but this was worse than ever. “Wacław,” Xobas’s stern voice said. “You’re late for training, and I’m sure Lubena doesn’t appreciate my intrusion.” I winced as I struggled to sit up. The pain from last night’s fights raced through my ribs and arms.
