Meet Again (2)

Violet's POV

What do I do? He's looking at my way too. But I don't know what to do about it. I wait for him to say something but nothing come out. He keep silent. So I decided to start the conversation when Ray coming right at me.

"what took you so long? I've been waiting for more than half damn hour for you!". Ray started yelling. What the hell! What happen with him. Didn't he saw that the line was so long?.

"It's not me. The line is so long. I've told you"

"My friend brought me a drink so I'm not thirsty anymore". That's what he saw while showing me a bottle of water.

"what!! Why didn't you tell me?". I can't believe it. He just said that thing with no emotion or some kind of guilty expression.

"enough. Don't protest. Let's go to my friends". He drag me out of line.

I saw Aaron looking at us with some kind of uncomfortable expression as I walk away from him.

Aaron's POV

What??! She's his girlfriend? That demanding man from before? And she? She is the poor girl?. How could this happen?. She is suppose to be happy. She has to be happy at least.

I didn't see her for years now. I thought that she has settled, Having a good life since it's her biggest dream. That's the reason why keep distance with me. She wants to be happy.

I can't stop thinking about it. It hurts me to see her having that kind of man beside her. Why couldn't he respect her?.

I felt my hear broken when I saw them. Both because I see her having someone in her life and her having that kind of bastard.

(PAST)

"what happen with you? Why are you suddenly acting strange?". I said looking at her with confusion.

"nothing. Are you happy Aaron?". She said as she look straight to my eyes.

"I do. What does is have anything to do with what I asked?"

"no.. noo. I just wanna know if you're happy or not. So she makes you happy, right?". She said with a bitter smile.

"yes.. And you're one of the reasons why I'm happy too. What is it, Violet? Is there anything happen?"

"no nothing happened. It's just...". She stops for a while looking like she was thinking of something. "I just wanna be happy too. Just like you. You find her. I want to find someone too"

"don't rush into things, Violet. I know your heart still broken, I know you want to move on. And I know you want to be happy. But if rush into things, I'm afraid that you won't find someone suitable for you?". I know her heart still broken because of her first love. The love of her life. Her everything. She always told me about that person. He was amazing man, completely her type. I feel jealous about that. I can't be that person. So that I try to find someone to distract me from her.

"why can't I be happy while you can?" she raised her voice. I can see her hands are trembling, and her eyes started to get watery. This is the first time she raise her voice. She has always being the calm girl.

"it's not like that, Violet. You have to wait for the right person for you if you want to be happy". I still try to calm her down.

"why are all of the man is torturing me? Can you just leave me be?"

"torturing you? What did I do? I was always there for you, listen to you at any time even when I'm so tired, listening to that boring story everyday about the same person that will NEVER LOVE YOU BACK! Now you're blaming me for torturing you? You torture me, Violet!".

I didn't mean to say that. I regret it immediately.

She stunned. Look surprised by my words.

"okay then. I won't disturb you again. You can have a peaceful life now". She calmed her voice to hide her trembling voice and she walk away from me.

"Violet wait! That's not what I mean. Please hear me okay? Violet!" she keeps running away from me.

Fool me. I thought I can fix it tomorrow if I let her calm herself down today. But I never saw her again after. She blocked all my contacts. She avoid me all the time.

Never thought that it's gonna last for years.
