I stared at the pictures, my hands shaking as I held them. Staring right back at me was a picture of myself and Liam walking together on the beach.
There were so many pictures of us together at Liam's beach house, from the moment I arrived to the moment I left.
My heart was beating so fast and loud, it felt like it could be heard from a mile away.
“De...De...rick, what is this?” I asked Derick, stuttering.
“I’m all ears, Macy. I’m waiting for an explanation,” he said in a very calm tone, but it scared the hell out of me.
I stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. How did he get these? I asked myself. What should I do? I can’t let a fight break out because of my selfishness.
How can I want two brothers at the same time? I thought.
