We arrived at Waterfall in no time, and I saw my father and mother standing in front of the pack house with one of the pack's doctors waiting.
I had mind-linked Dad earlier to inform him of my arrival and to arrange for a doctor to examine Macy.
I quickly got out of the car, carried my unconscious mate in my arms, and walked into the pack house.
I went straight upstairs to my room and gently placed her on the bed.
She looked so peaceful in this state, though her face was very pale. I sat next to her on the bed, holding her hands in mine as I watched her.
