Macy’s POV
It felt like I had been asleep for a long time. My body ached as I tried to move it.
I opened my eyes, but I couldn't see anything. Everything was blank, like I had gone blind.
I could feel I was on a bed—a small one at that. My bed isn't this tiny, I thought. Why can't I move my hands or see a thing?
I tried to speak but couldn’t. A cloth was tied around my mouth, stopping me from talking freely. Then I realized I was gagged. Where am I?
Then it hit me, I had been kidnapped! My mind raced back to what happened: Derick leaving the apartment angry, me calling Liam, driving to Waterfall, and then those unknown men taking me after drugging me.
My whole body ached from staying in one position for so long. I couldn’t see anything because of the blindfold on my eyes.
