The words coming out of my beta's mouth were confusing. I couldn't fathom what he was saying.
How could she go missing when I spoke to her just an hour ago? He was supposed to bring her here.
"What are you saying? Greg, you were supposed to bring my mate home!" I yell at my Beta.
"Alpha, I am sorry, I arrived late," Greg says, his head bent low.
"Where is Macy?" I ask, my Alpha aura leaking out as I face my Beta. My wolf growls and paces angrily in my head at his words.
