“Harriette, are you sick?” Kuya asked me anxiously as he put food on my plate. I just sat down at the table and stared at the big fried tilapia in front of me.
“Nothing, Kuya” I answered lazily and sat up. He sat in the chair opposite me and looked at me then frowned. I took the water and drank.
“Eh why, the depth of your eyebags? You look wide awake? What did you do last night when I wasn’t here?” He asked why I was choking and coughing. It quickly approached me and patted my back.
When I stopped coughing, it returned to its place. “W-Nothing, Brother. I just woke up reviewing” I reasoned and took the spoon and fork. I remembered Kane’s kiss on my forehead last night so I let go of the cutlery I was holding.
“What’s wrong with you, Harriette? Why is your cheek red?” Kuya
