33 My brother and I stood in front of the duplex, staring at each other with blank expressions. Neither of us knew what awaited us inside. Even worse, we had no idea how we were going to tell Dad that Grace was cheating on him. “Should we go in?” “Let’s do it.” My brother wrapped his arm around my shoulder, trying to support me, but I felt horrible.
