The council room was filled with pack members, and the air thick with tension. Christian held my hand and stood beside me, his shoulders squared as we walked into the room.
Zaiden and Toby stood up and walked over to me, to put a barrier between me and the Fae King.
I looked at him, his face was striking. High cheekbones, piercing eyes of emerald green, and dark black hair that flowed like shimmering silk down his back, and embedded with jewels. He was dressed in golden armor, but his weapon holders on his belt were empty.
''You weren't lying, all three of them share her'' He stood up and took a step closer to us.
''Rhazin take one more step towards her and I will break the temporary truce and rip your throat out.'' Zaiden warned him.
