ANGEL's POV.
I'm going home now, but I still can't believe what happened today. Parang panaginip lang! It's crazy that my crush even noticed me. What if what my friends said is true? Could he like me back? What if he starts flirting with me?
No way, that's not gonna happen.
I'm home, and there's a car I don't know in our garage. May bisita kaya si Kuya o si Mommy?
"Oh! Hi baby, you're home!" My brother said.
"What? Why are you so surprised to see me?" I asked, kind of annoyed.
"I didn't think you'd be surprised! Why aren't you inside yet, baby?" He asked.
"Whose car is that in the garage?" I asked back.
"Come on, I'm asking you something, and you're asking me something else!" I wanted to laugh at my brother, hahaha. Pero ano kaya 'yon? Ano kaya ang importanteng sasabihin at ipapakita sa akin ni Kuya?
"Baby, what are you doing out there? We're waiting for you," Mom said.
"Sorry, Mom! I just saw a car I don't know."
When I went inside, there was a girl with her back to me, talking to my brother, Mom, and Dad.
"Hey! Kurt, your little sister's here," Dad said to get everyone's attention. Wow! She's pretty. She has a nice face, and she looks kind.
"Angel we've been calling you," my brother said. What, really?
"What's wrong? Are you okay, baby?" Mommy asked.
"I'm okay, Mom. Who is she? She's really pretty!"
"Baby... She's Zalea, my girlfriend. Zalea, this is my youngest sister, Angel," my brother said.
"So, that's why you sent me home early? May magandang sorpresa pala dito sa bahay, and is ate Zalea gonna live with us?"
"Yes baby, she's gonna live here 'cause we already talked to her Mom and Dad. They said it's okay 'cause I have a good job, and they trust me to take care of her," my brother said. I'm happy for them.
"Okay, Kuya. Nice to meet you, ate Zalea! I'm going upstairs first 'cause I still have homework. Just call me when dinner's ready," I said.
"Okay baby, you go rest."
I went straight to my room. Hmm... I'm so tired. I put my things on my desk and took a shower before doing my homework.
Minutes passed...
I finally finished everything.
I picked up my phone 'cause I hadn't looked at it all day.
I had a lot of notifications, friend requests, and messages. First, I looked at my notifications, but it was just comments. Then, the friend requested...so many, but I didn't want to accept them 'cause I was lazy. Finally, the messages. I was so surprised. My heart started beating fast. His name was on my messenger, and I didn't think that would happen. I felt excited before I even read it.
(Zack Erl) "Hi angel."
(Angel) "Hmm... Hi, Zack. What's up?" I didn't want him to know I'm excited, haha.
(Zack Erl) "I was just wondering if I could pick you up tomorrow?"
(Angel) "Hmm? Why would you pick me up? I have my own car, and we have a driver if I don't want to drive," I replied. Syempre, pakipot muna tayo.
(Zack Erl) "I just thought it would be fun to get to know you better. So, either you don't want me to, or I'm picking you up tomorrow. And don't try to run away, or I'll tickle you!" Okay, fine, I have no choice.
(Angel) "Okay, fine," I replied. Why would I say no? He's my crush! This is my chance to be with him, but why is he being so nice to me now? Ano kayang nakain nito?
(Zack Erl) "Alright, sleep well. Goodnight." My face gets hot when I read that message. I feel like I have butterflies in my stomach. Is this really happening? Did my crush just say goodnight to me? I can't even believe it. Before I log off, I reply and turn off my phone.
I fall on my bed and cover my face with a pillow. Omg! This is the best day ever!
"Angel, dinner's ready!" Manang Nelda calls.
"Okay, manang. Coming!" I reply and quickly get ready before going downstairs.
