CHAPTER 5

ANGEL's POV.

I woke up early today because Zack will pick me up early. I'll feel another kilig na naman. Another day, another kilig moments na naman, pero syempre hindi natin ito ipapahalata sa kaniya.

As usual I did my morning routines again, of course another day came, right?

I am currently fixing my things when suddenly someone's knocking on my door.

"Come in... The door is open," I shouted.

I thought my older brother is here but I was wrong, because my Mommy is the one who knocked my door.

"Hmm... Mom why? May importante ka bang sasabihin?" I asked her.

"Wala naman baby, pero parang may tinatago ka sa amin," she said with matching crazy smile. "Parang may tinatago ka sa amin, ah?"

"Nothing to tell you something Mom. What are you referring to?"

"Hmm!"

"Wala naman, Mom. Ano'ng sinasabi mo?"

"The handsome one is waiting to pick you up downstair. Is he your lover baby?" I'm looking away because I know I'm blushing again. "Yong guwapo, naghihintay sayo sa baba. Boyfriend mo na ba 'yon, baby?"

"Mom, he's not my lover. He's just my classmate," I answered but my Mom really knows more about poking my side, she's still the one who's kinikilig. "Mom, hindi ko siya boyfriend. Kaklase ko lang siya,"

"Okay baby go ahead and hurry up there so we can eat."

"Okay, Mom."

"Sige na, baby, bumaba ka na para makakain na tayo."

"Okay Mom, I'll be right next to you, I'll just fix my things," I replied to her with a smile.

Minutes left. I go downstairs.

We are currently eating...

"Are you the boyfriend of our baby girl?" Dad suddenly asks Zack and the shock is obvious on Zack's face.

"Actually not yet, so I'm here now to ask permission if I can woo your daughter sir?" He answers. Is it real or just a dream? If it's a dream, I don't want to wake up.

"It's okay to me but that's if it is okay to our lil princess," my Dad says.

"But don't hurt her okay? When I find out you're hurting her I'll really make sure you'll regret it," my older brother laughs as we talk.

"Let's continue to eat and it's not bad for you two to love each other but don't neglect your studies. What is needed in a relationship is a matured mind. It needs a wide range of thinking. If you really love each other you also need to understand each other so as not to ruin your relationship. You need also to support each other," my Mom tells us about relationship.

"Moreover, what is not lost in a relationship is jealousy and resentment, that's where your resilience will be tested if you both understand each other. Suppose those are just tests for you. Jealousy is not bad, because jealousy is not because you do not trust your partner but you just want to make him or her feel that he/she is important in your life. You don't want to lose her/him. You don't want your partner to get closer to another woman/man. You want him/her to be yours only. You don't want him/her to be with someone else so you're just that jealousy. That's when you'll know that someone loves you when he or she is jealous. Don't disgust the person who is so jealous. Why would he/she be jealous if he/she doesn't love you, right? Maybe you are very immature when you hate the person who loves you so much. So sometimes we need to appreciate the people who love us. Let's learn to think about what can be the result of things," Mom adds.

Because of what my Mom tells us, I suddenly think that's what love is, isn't it? You need to have a broad understanding.

We are now in the parking lot and Zack comes down to open the door for me.

"You don't have to do that because I can go down alone," but deep inside I feel like there's butterflies inside my stomach. I didn't expect this to happen.

"Don't yell there, get used to it," he replies.

We walk into the gate together. They're all staring at us, the students.

"Why are they so together?"

"She's feeling, she's not Zack's type," they say.

"Zack is too handsome to be with that girl."

We just ignore them and we continue to walk. They say a lot more. They also look at me.

"Don't pay any attention to them baby, they're just jealous of you because you met a handsome Zack Erl," he says proudly.

"You're cute when you're blushing," he says teasingly.

I just avoid looking at him because of what he said.

"Hahaha! Let's hurry up and walk, baka malate pa tayo sa klase natin." I changed the topic because I feel nahihiya na sa kaniya.

"Don't worry baby even if we have a date today or we're late to our class, our teachers won't get mad," with a matching crazy smile.

Hmm yes, I forgot they own this school. He can scare our teachers so that they don't report to his parents. But actually I shudder at what he is saying hahaha.

We finally get to our room but our professor isn't there yet.

"Hmm, why were the two of you together?" Lexa's silly question to us.

"Stop making a lot of noise," Zack says. Why does his mood suddenly change? What could have happened there?

We go to our own seats in about 10 mins. Our class is just about to start.

"Hey girl, what happened to my cousin, why did he suddenly scream?" Lexa is really talkative.

"What do I know there, I'm not expecting him also to become rude," I reply.

"Maybe he's already penetrated, he's going to buy a napkin hahahah," Aira laughs jokingly.

"What is Zack going to do with the napkin? He's going to make a mask like that?" Joza asks.

"Ipapakain niya sayo," Aira says.

"Don't fight. The two of you look like a dog and a cat that lost their food," Lexa replies.

I just laugh at my friends' reactions. They look like crazy hahahah.

Joza is about to speak when suddenly someone comes and she's our professor.
