I payed the taxi before i got out. Napansin kong nakabukas na ang main door and the lights ibig sabihin no'n my parents just woke up.
Napangiwi ako nang maalala na dating gawi nanaman ako. Sana hindi nila ako hinahanap sa room ko.
I go to the backyard then pinasok ko muna 'yung bag ko since 'yung gate namin is para siyang rehas. Nang maipasok ko ito hinubad ko muna 'yung sandal ko at buti nalang walang tao at buti nalang talaga may cycling akong suot.
Inumpisahan ko nang umakyat at putcha, kung wala lang ako sa trouble tatawanan ko sarili ko. Dahil mukha akong unggoy dito at lalong-lalo na mukha akong akyat bahay dito.
I successfully climbed it. I immediately picked my things up then run to my room. I didn't enter at the front door but at the back. Since our kitchen has a door papunta sa labas para daw 'yung mga maids hindi na mahihirapan sa pagtapon ng basurahan. Laking pasasalamat ko din dahil nagagamit ko ito sa pagtakas-takas ko. 'Wag lang talaga silang maglalagay ng cctv.
But i have a big problem after that so hindi muna ako masyadong nagsaya. Which is I had to enter the dining room where my parents were eating their breakfast. As I secretly hide behind the wall, my mom spoke.
"Where's keir? Hindi pa ba siya gising?" my mom asked dad.
"Wait, puntahan ko lang," narinig kong tumunog 'yung upuan, sign na nakatayo na si dad. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. Sinasabi na nga ba eh.
Patay na talaga ako nito.
Napakagat ako ng labi at napapikit handa na makita si dad sa harapan ko na dumadaan at handa na ang tainga ko para makarinig ng sermon niya. Pero hindi iyon nangyari dahil pinigilan siya ni mommy.
"Hayaan mo muna siya hon. Tutal it's weekend, hayaan nalang muna natin siya makapagpahinga." dad sighed in defeat. I screamed silently, mom was the best, really.
I just waited for them to finish their breakfast Kasi for sure pupunta pa ng garden 'yan after nila magbreakfast. "Just put it on the sink, I'll do them later. " my mom said to dad and dad put the dirty dishes in the sink.
"Let's go to the garden?" yess! sabi na nga ba eh.
"Sure," nakita kong kumapit si mom sa braso ni dad. Nang makatalikod na sila handa na akong pumunta sa room ko when mom look at me, I was totally shocked when she winked at me then showing her thumbs up.
All this time alam niyang nando'n ako? Napakabobo ko naman kung gano'n? Mom then pointed at my room signing me to go up already before dad will caught me, I nodded to her and mouthed 'i love you' she nodded too and mouthed 'i love you.'
I successfully closed the door of my room then threw myself at the bed dahil inaantok pa ako. Pero bago ko pa man tulayan isara ang mga mata ko nag toothbrush muna ako para hindi nila maamoy 'yung alak. Nagpalit na din ako into pajamas, then drove to sleep. Mamaya ko nalang ichachat sina sol na nakauwi na ako at hindi na ako nakapagpaalam sakanila. Ihahanda ko na ang mga isasagot ko para kay mom mamaya dahil for sure she will ask questions nonstop.
Nagising ako sa kalabog na nanggagaling sa pintuan kaya tumayo na ako. "Sandali lang!" I shouted while still half-asleep.
Nung una akala ko sila duke at solis lang pero nagulat ako nang makitang nakapamaywang si mom sa harapan ko at seryosong nakatitig sakin. Kinutuban ako ah.
She then pointed downstairs. I gulped, getting nervous on what questions she's going to ask. Nauna si mom maglakad habang ako sumusunod sakan'ya habang nilalaro ko ang mga daliri ko at nakatungo.
Nakaupo na siya sa couch and waiting for me to sit down. Umupo ako pero may pagitan sa aming dalawa, just incase you know? nakakatakot din ito si mom kapag nagalit kaya.
"What were you doing there earlier?" her arms were crossed over her chest then looked at the air while asking me.
"Nothing mom," my voice broke kaya halatang nagsisinungaling ako, napakagat ako sa labi ko.
"Nothing," she scoffed in disbelief while looking away, oh no, she's getting pissed.
"Bakit gano'n ang ayos mo kanina?" s**t, anong magandang isagot? Think, keir!
"I'm just testing the dress and makeup mom, that i bought last week," nakatungo pa din ako at nakapikit ng mariin habang sinasabi iyon habang pinaglalaruan parin ang mga daliri.
"Okay," she looked like.. she was not convinced by my answers.
Oh god, handa na ako kanina eh, anong nangyari. Somebody help me!
"Amoy na amoy ko ang alak kanina keir, buti na lang hindi naamoy ng dad mo, how are you gonna explain it to me, keir, huh?" napadilat ako sa sinabi ni mom and my lips parted. This time mom faced me with her brows raised up.
"Uhhh..." I didn't know what to answer to my mom. This time, she caught me na.
"See? you can't even say anything to me." Tumayo na si mom and nakapamaywang ulit.
"Sorry, mom," pagkasabi ko no'n nagbago ang ekspresyon si mom. She approach me then pull me into a tight hug.
"Shh, It's okay, just don't do it again, ask for permission." her voice was so soft. She became soft after I say sorry to her. I really love my mom.
"Yes, mom." then she kissed my hair.
"What do you want to eat for snacks?" she asked me while I'm craving some donuts.
"Donuts!" I shouted like an excited kid. Mom laughed at my silliness.
"Okay, okay. Donuts for keir!" Mom shouted too and we laughed together.
While we're eating donuts, dad arrived with his brows forrowed up looking to my mom, angry. Umakyat siya sa kwarto nila mom nang walang pasabi nor bati kay mom. Alam kong galit padin sa'kin si dad dahil sa nangyari kahapon, well, I can't blame him. Napatingin ako kay mom gano'n na din napatingin na din siya sa'kin but she just shrugged her shoulders then continue eating her donuts.
"Mom, let me clean this up," nagpresinta na ako na ang maglilinis ng pinagkainan namin. She smiled at me tapos umakyat siya papuntang kwarto nila. Habang naghuhugas, napapaisip ako na saan kaya ako nilipat ni dad? Maybe, in a big university? well, i guess.
When I'm done washing the dishes, napagisipan ko munang magcellphone to update girls.

Napahagikgik ako nang tawa sakanila, kunwari lang iyan si duke pero kapag iniwan naman iiyak, kesyo hindi daw sinama lumipat ng school.
Nakita kong bumaba si mom kaya nabitawan ko ang cellphone ko at kuwaring nag-aayos ng mga unan sa couch.
"Villanueva University," I flinched when mom spoke out of nowhere. I curiously looked at my mom. Villanueva University? Is there where my dad transfer me?
"What Villanueva University, mom?" I'm not even familiar with that school.
"Where your dad transfer you," napaupo si mom sa sofa ganoon na din ako at hinawakan niya ang kaniyang ulo na parang naiistress na.
"What's the problem, mom?" I asked her.
"No, nothing, honey." Umangat siya ng tingin at ngumiti ng tipid.
I'll search the university later and try to do a background check if the comfort rooms are clean, if the classroom was nice, and if it was air-conditioned.
As I'm done pretending to clean, pumunta muna ako sa garden para makalanghap ng sariwang hangin.
Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at napagisipan na tawagan silang tatlo sa gc para sabihin sa kanila kung saan ako mag-aaral.
"Hey, everyone!" Masiglang bati ko sakanila nung sinagot nila 'yung tawag ko.
"Any update?" Solis asked while drinking some juice. While duke was just listening to us, he's always like that. Tinatamad daw magsalita, aksayado daw sa laway.
"Mom said Villanueva University," I said while looking to the flowers that mom planted. Infairness, they were beautiful. Ngayon ko lang ito napagtuunan ng pansin dahil sa puro ako gala.
"Villanueva University," Sol said almost whispering to herself, she looks like she was thinking if she already heard it before.
"Not familiar with that school," napaisip na din ako, siguro bagong tayo?
"Maybe it was a new school? You guess so?" Solis hummed slightly agreeing with me.
Pero parang kami lang dalawa ni sol ang nandito dahil pinandigan talaga ni duke 'yung salita niyang 'Aksayado sa laway' niya. Or maybe he have problem. Kaya napagisipan ko siyang guluhin.
"Hoy, duke bakla!" napasinghap siya sa tawag ko sakanya kaya nagsalita kaagad si sol.
"Oh no, here we go again. Acting like a child. Bye! I don't want to hear your fights anymore!" Then sol hanged up, tumatawa ako kasi kanina pa naiinis sakin si duke, ang daming sinasabi!
"Kung halikan kita diyan, para malaman mong hindi ako bakla?" Tumatawa padin ako sakanya, kase naiimagine ko ang mukha niya ngayon.
"Ew! No! The hell would i make-out with a gay like you?" Kami nalang natira dito sa call kaya maasar ko ito ng todo walang kokontra sa'min.
"Letche ka blaine! 'Wag ka magpapakita sa'kin! Sana matisod ka!" Galit niyang sigaw sa telepono kaya binabaan ko na siya. As i got up, natalisod ako sa may upuan. Nak nang putcha, ang lakas mo duke!
Napangiwi ako kasi medyo masakit siya, pero nung makita ko si dad sa loob natigilan ako, hindi ko alam, pero dinala ako ng mga paa ko kay dad. Hindi ko na namalayan na humihingi na ako ng tawad sakanya.
"Dad," nakatungo kong sambit. But he didn't respond to me.
"Dad, I'm sorry na oh," hahawakan ko na sana 'yung kamay niya pero inilayo niya ito.
"You're going to eat your words again, keir," he said with no expressions at all.
"I'm true with my words now dad." Well, good luck to me.
"Don't make me mad again kelly," medyo may halong irritation na sakaniyang boses kaya natakot ako doon at lumayo nalang ulit, next time nalang siguro. Aakyat na sana ako, nang makasalubong ko si mom sa may hagdan. Ngumiti ako ng tipid sakan'ya at tinignan niya si dad na ngayon ay umiinom ng tubig habang nakatalikod at minamasahe ang ulo niya, he's getting stressed.
When I closed my door, I heard mom and dad talking.
"Patawarin mo na 'yung anak mo oh," Malambing na tinig ni mom. She was taming my dad with her sweet and soft voice. Mom's voice was my dad's favorite to hear. He said her voice was like music, so he was getting soft when he heard my mom's voice.
Dad sighed.
"Hon, you know we can't forever spoiled her. Tignan mo ang nangyayari sakanya," malungkot na tinig ni dad kay mom.
"Hayaan mo na, she's our only child, we should give her what she wants. You promised, remember? That you were going to give her what she want?" Mom said to dad.
"But, we need to. Because she's getting older, ayoko na hanggang sa paglaki niya saatin padin siya nakasalalay." Oh, no. I don't think so i can do that. A big no!
"Hushh... I can take care of that... But for now, let's give her what she wants, hmm?" Dad sighed in defeat.. again. He also knew to himself that arguing with mom was no point, 'cause he was too soft for her, to the point he can't argue with her nor debate with mom.
"Alright, alright, I'll make up to her." As dad said that, my eyes grew bigger in shock. So I hurriedly go to my bed and then pretend that I was busy with my phone.
Dad knocked on my door first before coming in.
"Dad?" I confusedly asked since I was pretending.
"Sorry, hon," dad seat beside me and then massaged my hair, which I truly loved.
"Sorry for what dad?" What a great pretender keir!
"Just... Saying sorry, You know?" dad chuckles. I pretend again that I'm getting his point.
"Oh, that dad? It's okay, I deserve to be scolded because I did that." he pulled me into a hug.
"No, I was wrong about that. I'm truly sorry for shouting at you." I smiled at him even though he can't even see it because we were hugging each other.
"It's okay dad, I'm fine with it." kumawalas na siya sa pagkakayakap sa'kin at tumingin sa'kin na nagaalinlangan.
"You sure?" he asked full of concern.
"Yes dad," I smiled at him to give assurance that I'm fine with it.
"Okay, What do you want for dinner? I'll treat my ladies," dinner? hmm, I'm craving pizza and fried chicken!
"Dad, I'm craving pizza and chicken," I said to him full of excitement.
"Okay, okay, pizza and chicken, for my two ladies." We laughed together then he got his phone out of his pocket then order some.
Pwede na ako maging actress, omg! Ang galing ko!
