CHAPTER5

LISAS POV:

I was so startled by Angela’s words. I stared at her intently for minutes to ensure I heard right, but she repeated the words again.

Thank goodness! Tonight I’d leave this place.

In an instant, I rushed to her, holding her hand and leading her to the edge of the bed so we could sit.

“You’re sure you didn’t tell anyone what I said?” I scooted closer to her,my voice husky even though I knew the guards outside couldn’t hear us.

“Yes,”she answered firmly. “Adams Archer is a wicked man,I have seen what he did to the other girls before you.I would have resigned and left the mansion ever since,but I have nowhere to go to and he might kill the rest of my family members”Hearing what she said triggered quick disturbing thoughts in me.

I took a moment to breathe in as my heart swelled.

“I'm sorry for how I behaved in the morning. I was afraid and needed time to come up with a plan”.she apologized.

“So..so do you have a plan?”I whispered.

“Yes,”she nodded. Facing me as she adjusted herself on the edge of the bed and peeked at the door before she began. “ The entrance of the mansion is always locked,but as I leave to drop your leftover breakfast I'd open it with no one noticing.I'd come back and seduce the guard at your door.I would knock on your door as a sign that I have succeeded. You would have to wait for like 2 minutes before you come out”her voice grew huskier as though she was telling me a secret.

My pulse quickened as I took a moment to process the whole plan.

“But..but they're lots of guards,how would you seduce all?”I asked.It was a smart plan that could work out.

“Leave that to me”she responded confidently.

But I feared for her,she looked fragile and delicate.Her look made me doubt the effectiveness of the plan.

“Are you sure this would work? I asked, involuntarily pressing her warm fingers.

“Yes”she pressed mine back.You don't need to worry about me.i would be fine,just make sure you are careful enough not to get caught”.

I bounced my head in response as she carried the breakfast and made her way to the door.Before she could open it, I mouthed a “thank you”.

A dry smile elongated my lips and she smiled nervously before jerking the door open and heading out.

With what she said, I felt extremely excited and lost my appetite again. I couldn't wait to get out.

Sitting at the edge of my bed, I continued staring at the door for what seemed like eternity,waiting desperately to hear the accidental knock.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door just as she earlier told me.I counted to 60 twice before stepping out of the door.

I peered at both sides of the hallway to find it empty.The only thing I could hear was muffled screams coming out from the other part of the house.

She had cleared the path for me.Now it was to me,I was very grateful and prayed she was fine.

As I continuously and cautiously made my way through the hallway,my heart pounded in my chest,my feet echoed in the silence.To an extent,I thought my heart would burst from my chest.

I creeped out and raced to the entrance door.As I caught sight of it unlocked,an unconscious smile crept to my face even amid my fear.

I could taste the freedom beyond the door. Angela had really done well. I wish I'd see her again and repay her kindness in a million ways.

As I was about to grasp the door handle,two strongs hands lifted me and pulled me into a thick,brutal possession.

“No!,let me go!!”I screamed even though the person wasn't bulging.

“Nice try my little pet”a familiar voice that was deep and devilish sneered and that made my heart drop to my stomach in shock and in.. betrayal.

“You think you can escape?Dead wrong,Is this how you repay my kindness my love”He smirked and grinned.

He clamped my hand and dragged me roughly along the hallways.My heart rate picks more as we approach a room.

“Little Pet”his voice skims across every part of my skin.

I don't know if I am scared of what he might do or the fact he just caught me trying to escape.

“I'd punish you real hard feisty pet”.His tone deepens to a growl.The gravity of his tone sinks into my stomach.

The door click shut behind us and I realized we were in the room already.He let go off my upper limbs that was already throbbing with pain.

A sob lodges against the oxygen trapped in my chest.

“I'm sorry please”I pleaded admist my sobs.

More tears roll down my cheek.Every muscle,every tendon,every cell in my body vibrate with dread.

His hand suddenly pulls me to stand straight,he fists my hair in his hand, yanking my head up,my neck screaming at me in protest.

I start to yell out in shock,but my outburst is silenced when something hard hits my face.The blow connecting with my cheek and the corner of my mouth.

A pathetic cry escapes me,out of all the abuse I've suffered,this one is the worst.

“Get on your fours”he growls with anger.

So this is how I loose my dignity,the only thing I have left.My brain wasn't coordinating, I felt my butt connect with the floor that was when I noticed him in front of me.

“such a sexy piece of ass”he grunts s******g me till I was seeing stars.

“f**k!”he cursed. “Pretty mouth,put it to good use”he traces the bottom of my lip with his thumb c*****g his head to the side.

Roughly wrapping his fingers around my neck,he presses it hardly till I begin to choke.

He laughs with no humor and drags me to the edge of the bed.

Spreading my legs with his knees he stared at my naked p***y.

“Tonight,I'd remind you who you truly belong to”he let's out a sharp breath.
