PROLOGUE
"What's that?" I muttered as I saw him take a piece of a brown envelope from the side table drawer. He snubbed at me and turned to his feet as he walked towards the balcony. "Hey, I'm asking you-" he then cut me short as he spoke. "Come here and sit," he uttered with a raucous voice while he pulled a metal chair and sat on it.
I noiselessly obeyed what he had said. And then I asked him for the second spell; "Can you clear things out? What's that brown envelope you're holding? Don't tell me it's a-" he cut me as he raised his index finger and beckoned me to stay quiet.
"Before all these chitchats begin, let's have a cup of tea." he calmly spoke as he turned his head on the door where I saw a mid-aged woman wearing a maid's dress and carrying a tray with a teapot and two empty porcelain teacups.
She placed the tray on the table and gently put the teapot and teacups down the podium.
I smiled at her and we both said thank you.
I was about to speak when he gave it a start.
"Sign this," he muttered and I saw his mood changed into dull. He handed me the brown envelope while taking a sip on his drink.
My brows turned into slits and stared at him with a flabbergasted look. "What the hell is this?" I asked as I saw a paper with an empty field on the signature line at the lower right side.
"Read before you speak," he answered, avoiding eye contact with me.
As he says, I read the content of the said document.
"WHAT?! A CONTRACT?!" I unbelievably raged. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
I saw him smirked like a maniac.
