He couldn’t have had better weather. It was a beautiful fall day in New York. As the administrator promised, the Lear was sitting on the runway, engines running and waiting for him. The limousine drove him right up to the aircraft. He got out, thanked the driver who loaded his luggage, and then he boarded. The pilot’s cabin door was open. He greeted the two pilots and took his seat. The stewardess closed the fuselage door and the Jet taxied into position. In seconds, they were airborne.
