“You’ll hear lots of those comments from other professors around the university. When she separated from her husband, several of them attempted to date her without success. It’s just a lot of sour grapes. Don’t pay any attention to anything any of them tell you.” My querying of Meg about Louisa left me with more questions than answers. I’m sure, if we become some kind of item, I’ll learn those answers for myself. Meg excused herself so she could get to her next class. When I got home, I turned on my computer. Louisa had e-mailed me her address. I entered it into my GPS. I looked up her neighborhood on the local map. As best I could determine, it was about five miles from where I lived.
