The Alphas Witch Mate

Pack Meeting

I waited in the meeting hall for the pack to arrive, and my parents stood next to me with my Beta and Gammas families.

The Elders were first to arrive. Bethany uncle approached with a smile on his face. " Glad you finally came to a decision boy, Bethany will be very happy."

I brushed his comment off. Obviously, Bethany didn't tell him about last night's encounter. " Just sit down, things aren't always how you imagine them to be!"

It took an hour to get everyone settled down because, normally, for meetings like this, the pups aren't included.

I called the meeting to order." Now, please keep any questions or comments to yourselves until the end of the meeting."

Bethany uncle chose this moment to interrupt, " Where is Bethany? Why isn't she up there with you? Come, girl, join your Alpha for his announcement so everyone can see you."

Bethany stood up wearing a very skimpy outfit that showed more of her body than it covered. As she started to approach, my mother spoke. " SIT DOWN AND SIMEONE GUVE THE GIRL A SWEATER.! Have some respect in yourself, child. You look like a stripper." A few pack members grumbled about how inappropriate she was dressed especially with pups around.

"Elders, will you please refrain from. jumping to conclusions about this meeting. We are not here to speak about my son and his mate situation, which you have no right in trying to force his to take a chosen mate before exhausting all chances of finding his fated mate." My father glared at all three Elders, and they lowered their heads.

" Thank you, Father. Let me clear that matter up first. I reguse to take a chosen mate unless I can not find my fated mate in the next 5 years. Under no circumstances will I be forgiving to any she-wolf or her family or friends attempting to come onto me. From this day forward, if such things happen, there will be severe punishment for your actions." I cleared my throat. I hated threatening my pack, but I have had enough of the games. " Now, down to business. A mistake was made within our wolf real estate agency, and we had to deal with the issue. A human has purchased the Marshall farm."

Gasps were heard from everyone, the Elders banged their table, and all stood up. " What do you mean a human bought the Marshall farm? Cancel the sale, get rid of the human, and this puts us in danger!" Murmurs were spoken by all. Pups senced the tension and began to cry, not understanding what was causing such anger within the room.

" ENOUGH," I commanded in my alphas tone. " I already said no questions or comments til I am done. If you can't listen to a simple instruction like that, then I will Alpha command your silence. I would rather you all just listen and respect me enough to do so."

"I will give everyone a half hour break so parents can calm their pups. When we reconvene, I expect you to be quiet." I dismissed them and walked into the meeting house kitchen. Sighing, I found a snack.

"Hey son, you're doing a good job." My father patted me on the back. " Step at a time and breath, it it's a shock to everyone. This has never happened before."

My Beta and Gamma came in with their mates. Silvia looked at Lars and turned to speak to me. " I know your mother wants to be the first to greet this human woman, but perhaps after she does, Olivia and I should make friends with her too. Between the three of us, we should be able to learn more about her."

I smiled, damn my best friends really did well with the mates they got. I hope mine has a heart like these two women." I appreciate the offer and accept it. I'll let you make plans with my mother over the details. Let's head back in and hope to get through this meeting without any more interruptions .

We all reentered the meeting hall and took our seats. My mother stood up to speak her plan, Silvia and Olivia also explained what their roles would be. My father discussed parents making sure their pups understood the dangers of accidental shifting. The meeting progressed well, and the pack listened to everything.

I went to stand up to speak again when Lindsey stood. " Excuse me, Alpha, if I may explain how this happened? I don't want the pack angry at you when the fault lays with me." She bravely told her story and begged the packs forgiveness. I noticed Bethanys crowd giving her dirty looks and whispering to each other.

"Lindsey, thank you for being so brave, but don't feel guilty. Nobody will be mad at you for this. It was a mistake, and mistakes happened. As a pack, we will deal with it together. " I glared towards Bethany and her crowd as I spoke. " I will not tolerate anyone bullying Lindsey over this or bothering this human girl moving here. Do I Make Myself Clear?"

Heads nodded as they felt my aura roll over them. Bethany simply scowled and gave Lindsey another rude look. HMM, I may have to deal with her a different way. I mindlinked my Beta and Gamma to make them aware of the possibility that Bethany and her friends may cause Lindsey problems.

" We have a plan in place. If this woman speaks to you, don't be rude and let our former Luna and the leaders mates follow through with their plan. I intend to find a wY to meet this human after they learn what they can from her. We will keep you informed on any issues, but if you have questions, my door is open. Are there any questions?"

Several members wanted clearer instructions and a few questions answered. I did my best to ease their fears and give them peace of mind. After the pack was dismissed, the Elders approached.

"You had better make sure nothing goes wrong. We will be watching and don't think we won't report you to the wolf council and have you removed if it does."

My father reacted before I could and grabbed the Elder by the throat. " Just because you are an Elder does not make your thoughts law. Never threaten your Alpha again, or I will take you out myself."

He tossed the Elder aside as my mother came up and rubbed his back yo calm him down. The Elders scurried away and left us along in the meeting hall .

"That went well!" Lars snickered. "Don't worry Alpha, Mark and I will make sure Lindsey isn't harmed. Let's hope this plan works for us."

"Who knows maybe this human will be a mate to someone in the pack?" Mark joked as his mate smacked him in the back of the head.

"Human have been mated to wolves before but even then we have to be careful. Some don't take well to learning about us and we all know what the council will do if they feel our secret is in danger." Silvia stated.

"Ya, the human disappears, an investigation from human police happens and they get put in an unsolved case file and the council disbands the pack and moves everyone to new packs. I hate that these things happen but our secret needs to stay secret!" I worried about our future as a pack as I spoke.

"Mac, will this human be the end ofnour pack or be something good for us. I am getting a weird feeling?"

He snorted " The Goddess spoke to me but I was told this human is needed here and she was the one that cause Lindsey to mess up the real estate sites. The Goddess has a plan so let's take things slow!"
