Staring down at her, I watched her deep her hand into her pocket as she pulled out a brown envelope, and handed it to me.
She was f*****g kidding me right, how could she not feel remorse for coming out at me in front of my staff, how could she not care about Ace.
I snatched the envelope from her hand, staring at it for a moment. “Your pay will be sent to you” I managed to say.
“No problem sir, thanks for everything,” Lexa spoke not daring to look at me as she walked away brushing past me with her suitcase.
