“He fired you didn't he” Samantha's voice became hostile as she paced back and forth in my bedroom.
“Well, you can't blame him, I did challenge him in front of everyone, especially his son, I feel like I messed up Samantha” I responded, feeling my heart ached at the thought of how heartbroken Ace was.
Samantha paused staring at me, she walked toward where I sat, grabbing me by the shoulder as I stared into her eyes shocked by her sudden action.
“Can you for once stop blaming yourself over how that jerk treated you, even if he was your boss he had no right to treat you like that, is it wrong to stand up for yourself”
I smiled grateful for Samantha's support and concern towards me, I burst out in tears as she hugged me.
