HATRED
“Jade” Alexander called out, his eyes shifted from Jade to Lexa who stood facing each other.
Jade turned to face Alex with a forced smile plastered on her lips, her eyes staring at Ace, who seemed to be holding onto his father's hand.
“I heard he got lost”
She finally spoke, breaking the tension, Alexander slowly ruffled his son's hair before picking him up from the ground into his arms.
“His sweet tooth got the better of him, I am sorry for the commotion” he apologized, his eyes still fixed on Ace as he spoke.
Jade nodded, folding her arms in protest. “You seem calm for someone whose son went missing just 30 minutes ago,”
