The werewolves curse

Chapter 12

Two blue eyes were staring at us. If I were a human, I wouldn't see the fur, but I saw with my werewolf eyes that it was a black wolf. He was trying to get in. It was so scary. The wolf tried to get in the house and when he tried to break the widow down I screamed. It made so much noise that my eardrums could break. Marnik also hold his hands to his ears. Could it be that it had something to do with Ellen or the encounter I had at school? I wasn't sure. Maybe someone tried to protect Ellen. Maybe it had something to do with the weird feeling I had when the person grabbed my hand.

The wolf kept rooming around the house. Even after a while, it didn't go away. Why did I feel so scared? Maybe it wa someone else. Not the person from the school ground. My first idea couldn't be wrong, right? Maybe Ellen sent a protector to kill me. Even if I wasn't at fault.

The wolf tried one last time to break in, but failed and just ran away back into the woods.

I kept looking out of my window, but the wolf didn't come back.

A while later, I heard a sound downstairs at the door, but I heard the front door was opening, and I knew it was my mom. I made a sigh to Marnik that he had to hide under the bed. He went directly, and I ran downstairs to tell my mom the story about the black wolf at my window.

'Good evening mom.' I said. She finally smiled at me. She probably didn't hear from school about gym yet.

'Hi honey, how was your day?'

'A bit scary. First, at school, someone grabbed my arm and I didn't know who it was. Then when I came home there was a black wolf outside that tried to break in.'

'What did you just say? A black wolf trying to break in? That's weird. I hope it wasn't a rouge.'

'Rouge, what is that? I never heard of it.'

'Ava hasn't told you yet?'

'No, I hoped she would have done that already. She probably has better things to do than give you information.'

'Yeah she is probably more busy with her mate.'

'Since when do you have a mate?' My mom asked, confused.

I doubted if I could tell her, but now I had to.

'It's Marnik.'

I felt a blush directly on my cheeks, and she looked curious at me.

'Mom, I am tired. I will sleep now.'

'Good night, If Ava is also too tired to give you information about the rouges, come to me honey.'

I ran back upstairs and searched for Marnik under my bed, but he was already gone. I was a bit worried because he escaped through the window. The same window where the wolf was. I hope he was fine.

He didn't even send me a message that he had come home.

All day I had got to school and studied together with Marnik and then the black wolf. I was tired, but I just couldn't sleep.

I kept tasting and turning till the early sunlight came through my curtains. I looked at my phone, but there was still no news from Marnik. I hoped he came safe at home.

My alarm will come soon, and I will have to wake up. I hope I can fully concentrate at school. Today I still had Mrs. Dom.

It will be a difficult day.

Hearing my alarm clock, I woke up dizzy. The sleep must have gotten me for a few minutes, but that was not enough to make me feel better.

Luckily, this time I got no headache. I tried to go downstairs to grab some water, but I felt so dizzy that I fell almost down the stairs. Luckily, I fell just before the stairs and there was not much time needed to heal.

I felt the hand grab me again, and I felt like I knew his touch, but I couldn't see his face. His face was just a black spot. He tried to tell me something, but it was like a mic without a sound. Now I could see his lips and they tried to tell me something.

I woke up on the ground. My mom and dad were working, so they didn't hear anything.

Still feeling a grabbing hand on my arm, I felt a weird kind of sensation again.

Arriving at school, I still felt the person grabbing my arm. When I saw Marnik standing by the school about to go in I ran to him and hugged him.

'I thought something might have happened to you.' I felt relieved and kissed him. In myself I wanted to give him a good scolding, but I just let it be because I loved him so much.

We kissed till it was almost time to go to class.

In the hallway I saw he was getting nervous. He wanted to ask something, but was still in doubt about telling me. Then came the words......
