A squad subdued the fleshmonger controlling the containment unit. Bits knew the rudimentary function of the device but struggled to activate it. He aimed the small dish at Lucius’s distorted projection. “Why isn’t it working?” Cole barked. “I-I am not sure...” Bits was at a loss. Grabbing the fleshmonger by the throat, Cole hissed, “In time, we’ll figure it out.” He shoved the decaying man to the flickering visage of Lucius. “Unless you want to be trapped in there with Lucius, activate it now.” The jaundiced eyes of the fleshmonger grew to the size of saucers.
