Chapter 35
Zach’s POV It’s only my first year of college, and I already feel like I don’t belong here. I lay on top of the picnic table on the campus lunch plaza and took in the sun and the smell of the trees around me. I couldn’t understand it. I loved being outside, the trees, the weather, nature, and the variety of game animals you could hunt here in Oregon were great. But being at school was not for me. I thought if I got away from California, that I would at least be able to tolerate school in a favored location. But it’s not enough for me. I let out a sigh and felt a pain begin to dwell in my head. I had these small migraines starting up a couple of months ago and can’t figure out why. I know my dad gets them once in a while and my sister was getting them very often towards the end of high sch
