One whole week. That is how long Eli has been avoiding me. I have tried everything that is there to try and apologise to him. I had texted him, called him and had left him a voice mail. I had gone to his department, only for him to walk past like I had been f*****g invisible. The one time he had given in and attended one of my calls all he had said was that he’s busy and that he’ll get back to me when he finds the time. The call never comes. It makes me wonder if Eli and I are over before we even started something. Sure, the fault lies in me, but I am astounded by how unwilling he is to hear me out. Isn’t that what being in a relationship is all about? Communicating and listening? Either I have gotten this whole thing wrong or Eli does.
