Stirring on my bed, I squint when bright, white light courtesy of the early morning sun floods into my otherwise dark bedroom. Guarding my poor sleepy eyes with my hands, I roll out of my seemingly empty bed. My heart begins to thump heavily from the possible prospect of Eli being gone. While the sane part of me knows how wrong last night had gone. A fight of that magnitude, ending with s*x is totally not appropriate but I had done it anyway, and now I don’t know what to think about being left alone in the bed, the morning after. Pulling on the Eli’s black V-neck from the previous night that lay abandoned on the floor, I pad over to the living room where the smell of well-made floats in the air.
