~Maeve~   I see Noah around the campus, exactly three days after the said confession. Freya is non-committal to the entire fiasco, pretending like it never happened, while Noah and I indulged in the avoidance game. So, when Noah makes his presence known in the campus, I take it to be an indication that it is time for us to talk. As convenient as it had been to act like Noah never confessed and I didn’t run from him after, it did happen and I want Noah in my life for the long haul. I have had him for twenty years and I want him for twenty more and then some more. It’s a shame, really, that I can’t find it in me to reciprocate his feelings because I know that we’ll make a terrific couple. We know each other and I complement Noah’s moodiness with my own chipper, our families like each other
