Chapter 15 - Through The Dark

3182 Words

~Dylan~   I never have found my living room window more annoying that today. New York is surprisingly sunny for the oncoming New York winter and the light is coursing through the window, right across my eyes. My head is throbbing and I feel dizzy. The urge to throw up is so strong and just lifting my body up is a herculean task. When I manage to haul myself up, I see my jacket neatly folded on the singular wooden chair across the couch. My boots are nice and upright against the wall.   I did that when I came home?   My lids feel heavy resulting me in squinting quite hard. Finally, when I am on my two feet, the first thing I do is to reach and close the curtains.   That is so much better.   There is something off about this because I don’t remember anything about coming home last
