~Maeve~ It is the same old with Symphonies and I think that is what I enjoy about the place. The consistency in taste, ambience and in making me feel good. Today, however, I don’t feel quite as good despite sitting in one of my favourite places in the city. I am tucked away, far from the door, towards the back to the café, nursing an espresso in my hand, waiting for my mother who is already thirty minutes late. I feel like a fool every time, I expectantly look at the door when it chimes to indicate the presence of a new person. Noah had asked if he could accompany me to the café but I had declined him.
