Honey I wish that I could say that the searing cold was the main cause of my shivering. Though harsh weather truly is behind nearly every chatter and jolting limb, it isn’t related to the eeriness brought upon me tonight. This menacing stir is undoubtedly coming from the newly conjured and steadily shedding cluster of clouds beyond the force field that poorly separates warm from cold, and the woman in the sky from us. I have never, ever, in my entire life seen a storm like this. From the looming, dark clouds, so thick with menacing woe, I can see as snow builds inches in every crevice, and when I look out, the usually pearly white is anything but, It’s grey, tainted. I shiver at the thought, and the contrast between the inside of the dome to the near black cocoon of a blizzard that awaits outside. And honestly, I just cant help but wonder where it all went wrong. When the woman first appeared in the sky three days ago, she was just a a cloud and her features were brought together by mist but even then, she was just a pair of eye's, lips, and a nose. She was calm, I know now that she was bargaining, and that she allowed the sun to shine, though her mists brough a slight bit of dimness to the day, she was peaceful. The men in white mocked her because of it. They called her a fool, and even told us that we had nothing to fear but them. That was three days ago, and it seems they picked the right fool to test. Now we lay dormant, under siege, three whole days submerged in darkness, these halls are silent. Wind whipping hard enough to shake every wall that surrounds us seems to be the only thing filling the deathly vacant air. Even after being told that we have nothing to fear, every crackle that comes from the newly brewed blizzard outside, heartbeats jump, books leap from hands, and sweat beads to the back of the so called brave. So much for we have nothing to fear. I’m not complaining though, this is quite the phenomenon. Being alive to witness a woman made out of what ever seems to please her and the ability to conjure blizzards right outside of your home to wreak havoc is cool and all, but what's really getting me is them. Just being able to witness the ones who have drilled fear into my very being since birth frightened to their core. And I mean I get it, It’s not like their fear is coming from no where. Looking up to my newly renovated hole in the ceiling, courtesy from the lady and her top notch boulder throwing techniques. I can see the side of her face. Every defined detail now held together by white crackles and jolts of white lighting. But every day, for as long as I can remember I have been taught that I am inferior to them, my superiors, the Human race, and that it is their birth given right to believe, and to behave as my superior because as of January the 28th, 2002, it marked their Reign. The day in which the war that once consumed the world claimed its final champion and successor In a storm of revengeful fire, and mechanical warfare that left the globe drenched in blood. It was a barbaric, and moral-less victory, that not only changed the supernatural world on a monumental scale, but brought forth the human races glorious reign as the new superior species. History that changed a whole world. Literally. Everything from the east to west was conquered within days, Because of that, and because my blood, from a very young age I was given a set of rules to abide by, to consider with my every move, no matter what I do. I was taught that my kind were disgraces, worst of the worse because of how much we resemble our ancestors but do not- or better yet, will never amount to what they were. We are nothing, we are easily conquerable, easily manipulated, and most of all. Slaves. Doomed to be lab rats for the men in white who experiment and test on our flesh to their hearts desires, suicide soldiers, men on the front line made to fight in their wars and never live to tell another story, and breeders, to keep their supply of slaves at a steady over seeable rate. With that being said, it feels good to see that they have finally met their match, but I would be lying If I said she didn't scare me too because unlike them, I don’t know her intentions. I don’t know why she’s here, and I don’t know how much civilian life means to her just yet, so I don’t know If I would be safe Is she got through. I find myself contemplating the finality of it all still, If she were to get through, if she did enough damage. Maybe I could escape. When I break my gaze away from her I’m met by cement walls that I have known my whole life from my spot on the floor. But when I look back to her, I find it hard to come up with a plan tat doesn't consume me in a blizzard with no way out. Another loud thrash from the sky lady sends a gun flying from the hands of a guard stationed outside of my cell and I can’t help but let a little gust of air slip from my nose. Again, so much for we have nothing to fear. When the guard turns my way I let the smirk on my lips drop instantly with the turn of my head. “Is something funny?!!” The burly man knocks on my wall with quite some force, it doesn’t go unnoticed but I don’t flinch. Humans lash out when they don’t get their way, and In a situation like this where they clearly don’t have the upper hand, they only have us to pick on. “Hello!?” He bellows loud enough to cause an echo in the silent halls. I continue to ignore him and instead focus my attention to the woman who is furiously banging on the only thing separating us from her. I truly do wonder what will happen when she sets through. Will we be drowned in snow? Will she set the innocent free? Her roars tell a painful story just as much as they do her anger as her now formed hands thrash and claw at the blight blue dome. She's determined to get through. Another bang on my wall then a footstep from the man, catches my full attention and when I look behind me I see the man, now red in the eye’s was attempting to approach me. The only thing stopping him, the single hand from his partner now resting on his shoulder. “What would Kanine do If he saw you huh?” I turn my head again, and fix my gaze to the woman once more, not just to keep from engaging with an angry hunter male, but when another hit much louder comes ringing loud enough to send vibration through the ground my gaze fixes on the woman who is now winding up something powerful. “She’s going to get what's coming to her, that's why were here so-” A pulsating blow from her makes him stumble on his words, but a voice on his walkie talkie that I cannot hear makes him forget his sentence because my world has now focused entirely on the woman as she opens her hand to reveal a lighting charge that blazes through the fog, making way to blare to life as she pulls her arm back for a surely deafening blow. “Oh shi-” I feel every hair on my body stand, literally, and goosebumps begin to form on the back of my neck. My instincts beg me to run, fight, do something, but as the woman brings her hand down to shatter the force field with an earthquake inducing explosion all I can do is watch.
