Chapter 11: RunningAprils pov
We cross the pack border and I feel all my connections with the pack dissolving. I look at Dylan and I know that he feels it too if the look of pain in his eyes is anything to go by.
I look back one last time and some part of me feels sad because I've left the only home I have ever known and yet I feel excited because now I'm stepping into the unknown.1
"Hey Dylan? What happened to the warriors you were with? " I ask him through the mind link.
" They were killed!” he says sadly.4
" I'm sorry for you lose! " I pause " what about the other pack members?" I continue asking.
" They went into hiding once the attack began!" He speaks.
After that we fall into comfortable silence.
