Talock was with ten councillors and fifty Fullstars. In Taria, the level of one's magic was measured by ‘stars’. The stars were basically pentagonal badges that were placed on the left side of every Tarian soldier's chest. Beyond just symbols of magical prowess, it also stood as a symbol of pride. No soldier would be caught without his badge. It was a thing of pride for more than just soldiers, even the family members of the soldiers would often be caught bragging about their relatives having a badge. The badge was made by pure Tarian iron, which as they say, never gets rusty.
Of course, some soldiers were stronger than others. And that led to some people having star badges that had quarter stars engraved on them—bearers were called Quarterstars and were the lowest among badge holders. T
