Caroline’s P.O.V I had no idea how long it had been since Kevin bit me to change me into a werewolf, but I do know that it was an intense time for all of us because no one knew how long the change would take to complete or how long I would be asleep for. I don’t know how, but I could always tell when my mate, Kevin, was near me and I could feel how he cleaned my body and kept me covered up with the blankets. I felt bad that I wasn’t there to comfort him, but I had no idea how to wake up. “Please wake up. I need you, please wake up.” Kevin whispered to me, kissing my forehead, but no matter how much I tried I couldn’t. I could feel everything that was happening to me and I could hear loud noises now, whereas before they always sounded muffled, but now they were as clear as day.
