I stood here completely shocked that he even had the nerve to turn around. As though I weren’t worth the argument! Even though his office said something different entirely. I took a step into the office but froze. Samuel was growling from his place by the window. I decided to be brave and inch further into the office.
“DON’T!” Samuel growled out.
“Then act like an adult and turn around,” I snapped.
“I assure you, nothing good will come from me turning around. You should leave and we can discuss this another time.”
